After a seemingly endless winter, we are glad to be once again stocking some gorgeous, cool and floaty fair trade summer scarves! Handmade from pale sand coloured cotton/viscose with a variety of beautiful coral pink and orange shell designs, these particular scarves will transport you straight to the seaside. And you know that the beach is our favourite place to be! They are beautifully light and soft around the neck but also wide enough to cover your shoulders if you are lingering to watch another beautiful West Wales sunset. They would be the perfect accompaniment to any summer outfit.

These stunning scarves are made by skilled artisans in a cottage industry co-op in North East India. This fair trade co-op is made up of small units with most of the community involved in different processes - some houses have weaving looms, some specialise in dying, some in tasselling, some in stitching. They are brought to us by York Scarves who, like us, are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.
