Recycled Inner Tube Belt

Here's a brand new addition to our recycled tyre range of products. These hard-wearing and stylish belts are made from upcycled inner tubes and come in different length and width fittings. They are made from four layers of inner tube for a smooth finish and the buckles are attached with poppers so can easily be changed if required. These fair trade and eco friendly belts all have contrasting orange stitching but the manufacturer's labels, or even the odd repair patch, on the inner tubes means that no two belts will be exactly the same. 

Dimensions: Length 1100mm fits up to 34″ waist or 1200mm which will fit up to a 40″ waist

These belts are made in the Chilomoni Township in Malawi, providing training and employment to the artisans and using the profits to fund a children's centre. The old inner tubes are shipped to Malawi in the same containers as donated bikes that are refurbished for use by the local community. The upcycling of old tyres saves these waste materials from going into landfill, so they are a great sustainable product. Also, the use of these recycled materials provides a fantastic vegan alternative to leather belts.
