Upcycled Tyre Wallet - Bifold

We have spent quite a long time looking for the perfect fair trade wallet - and we think we have found it now. These eco-friendly wallets are made from recycled tyres. This makes then very strong and flexible, so they will keep their shape no matter how many back pockets they get squashed into. They also have plenty of pockets for cards and a zip pocket and they close with a popper. The tread of the recycled tyres provides a really interesting texture and the colour trim gives a stylish accent to the design.

These wallets are made by Smart Crafts, a small group of artisans in Cambodia who mainly work from their homes and focus on employing victims of landmines and polio.

The upcycling of old tyres saves these waste materials from going into landfill, so they are a great sustainable product. Also, the use of these recycled materials provides a fantastic vegan alternative to leather wallets. They are brought to us by Lost in Samsara who, like us, are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.
