Recycled Newspaper Pencils

These beautiful pencils are made from 100% recycled newspaper. An ideal gift for children or anyone interested in sustainable stationery. The pencils are made by compressing old newspaper and wrapping it incredibly tightly around a lead. As they are handmade from  recycled newspaper it helps to reduce the amount of unwanted global waste and reduce wood consumption. Due to the recycled nature, each pencil will also be completely unique. A recycled, useful product that looks good too.

These recycled pencils are made by a women's NGO in Nepal who are working to improve economic and educational opportunities for marginalised women. They are brought to us by Siesta who are, like us, members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.
