This chic and stylish fair trade backpack is a fantastic way to carry your belongings around town or in the countryside. It has lots of useful pockets inside and out, including handy side pockets for carrying Welsh weather essentials such as an umbrella and a water bottle. It is also large enough for a laptop. And the fact that it is made from recycled inner tubes means that it is super strong, easy to clean and water-resistant (also great for our climate in West Wales).  The pop of yellow or mint green around the zips contributes to the urban chic rucksack design. These bags are made by Smart Crafts, a small group of artisans in Cambodia who mainly work from their homes and focus on employing victims of landmines and polio They are brought to us by Lost in Samsara who, like us, are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.

The upcycling of tyres saves these waste materials from going into landfill, so they are a great sustainable product. Also, the use of these recycled materials provides a fantastic vegan alternative to leather bags.
