This fair trade yarn is handmade by Fair Trade artisans in Nepal. The workers, mainly women, are based in small workshops or private homes around the Kathmandu valley and benefit from flexible working conditions to suit their personal circumstances.

The use of recycled material reduces the amount going into landfill and these make a great environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic yarns.
