After a seemingly endless winter, we are glad to be once again stocking some gorgeous, cool and floaty fair trade summer scarves! Handmade from 100% cotton, the crinkle design of these scarves gives them a very relaxed and casual feel. Available in four stylish colourways they are beautifully light and soft around the neck but also wide enough to cover your shoulders if the sun is just a bit too hot. They would be the perfect accompaniment to any summer outfit.

These stunning scarves are made by skilled artisans in a cottage industry co-op in North East India. This fair trade co-op is made up of small units with most of the community involved in different processes - some houses have weaving looms, some specialise in dying, some in tasselling, some in stitching. They are brought to us by York Scarves who, like us, are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.
