These unique fair trade scarves are made from recycled silk saris that are stitched together using Kantha stitching. Kantha work is a traditional Indian embroidery technique that uses multiple layers of old saris to make beautiful new fabric.

Each one of these scarves it totally unique and they are reversible so that you get two looks from one scarf. As each scarf is unique we do not specify what colour you will get. However, if you have a particular colour preference please let us know when ordering and we will see what we can do!

These scarves are handmade by Fair Trade artisans in India. The purpose of the project making the scarves is to help the artisnas to become self-sufficent. The work provided also benefits the whole community and prevents old saris from becoming waste.
