We source these beautiful scarves and bags through Earth Squared, who have been working with fair trade accredited partners in Vietnam for the past 19 years. Almost all of the artisans who make these products were originally rice farmers earning a subsistent, irregular and inconsistent wage. Being employed at the workshop in Hanoi instead enables the women to improve their lives through secure work, training and a healthy working life, giving them financial security and self-confidence. Earth Squared, like us, are members of BAFTS the UK Fair Trade Network.
