Upcycled Tyre Mini Purse

We have been stocking men's upcycled tyre wallets for some time now, but are glad to be able to add an option designed for women. Smaller than the upcycled inner tube purse, this mini purse is compact enough to fit in a pocket or small clutch bag, but still has plenty of room for cards and notes, as well as a zip pocket for coins. These eco-friendly mini purses are made from upcycled tyres, which makes them very strong and flexible. The tread of the tyres provides a really interesting texture and the peacock blue trim and stitching gives a stylish accent to the design.

These mini purses are made by Smart Crafts, a small group of artisans in Cambodia who mainly work from their homes and focus on employing victims of landmines and polio. They are brought to us by Lost in Samsara who, like us, are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK.

The upcycling of old tyres saves these waste materials from going into landfill, so they are a great sustainable product. Also, the use of these recycled materials provides a fantastic vegan alternative to leather purses.
